Slidell, LA: Car slams into post office, six injured

SLIDELL, La. – A 70-year-old woman mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brakes and crashed her car into a post office in Olde Towne Slidell, injuring six Tuesday morning, according to Slidell Police.

Police said one victim was airlifted with a head injury, but the injury doesn’t appear to be life-threatening.
