Shreveport, LA: SPD arrests man after shooting that injured 12-year-old boy

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit arrested a man Wednesday in connection with an accidental shooting that left a 12-year-old boy in serious condition.

Brandon Mack, 33, of the 7800 block of Fairfield Avenue was booked on one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Police say the arrest follows a shooting incident that happened about 6:22 p.m. at a home in the 7500 block of Fairfield Avenue.
