DeQuincy, LA: Police officer charged with DUI, hit and run

An off-duty DeQuincy police officer has been charged with DUI, hit-and-run driving and reckless operation of a motor vehicle, city police said.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said 30-year-old Matthew Sollay, of Lake Charles, was arrested early Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle accident at the corner of Bayou and Orchard drives.
