AMELIA, LA: Man kidnaps & beats woman, hits deputy with car

AMELIA, LA (WAFB) –

Authorities said a man accused of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint, hitting and robbing her, and then hitting a deputy with his car was arrested Wednesday morning.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office said Israel Garza, 25, of Amelia was taken into custody on 10 counts around 7 a.m.
