Rapides Parish: Juvenile facing charges in Pisgah Baptist and cemetery vandalism case

A 16-year-old from the Dry Prong area is facing charges of trespassing and criminal damage in connection to vandalism earlier this month at the Pisgah Baptist Church and Community Cemetery, according to a Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office release.

The juvenile was arrested today after detectives had interviewed the complainant and other concerned citizens in the area, according to the release. The investigation is continuing to determine if there are other suspects in the case.

“We appreciate the communities assistance in solving this senseless crime” said Sheriff William Earl Hilton.
