ST. HELENA PARISH, LA : Four women arrested for casino parking lot shooting

ST. HELENA PARISH, LA (WAFB) –

Authorities have made several arrests in a deadly shooting Tuesday night at a casino.

Deputies say there was a fight in the parking lot of Tall Timbers Truck Stop on Highway 16.  Jamilia Smith, 25, tried to help a friend involved in the fight and was shot and killed by Stacey Self.

Self’s daughters, Ebony and Triquencea Self, and a third woman, Karretta Franklinton, were also arrested in connection with the shooting.
