Ball Mayor Jonathan Dean took over under difficult circumstances when he was elected to succeed Roy Hebron, who went to prison. And, the town is poised officially to become designated as a city. Today he spoke to the North Rapides Business and Industry Alliance about the almost-a-city’s future prospects.
“With the rapid growth I think it is time we have a code enforcement officer; we’ve made tremendous strides in cleaning up the town, but of course there’s more work to be done.”
As far as I know, Louisiana only has one Ball. It’s not very big, but it’s growing. So I can’t make a joke about Louisiana having big balls, or even small balls. One small ball just sounds sad and not very funny.
