Rapides Parish, LA: Deputies Arrest 2 In Armed Robbery

RAPIDES PARISH, La. – Recently, two suspects were arrested involving an armed robbery that happened earlier this year when a man entered a store demanding money and whiskey.

According to reports from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the River Store at 1006 La. Hwy 113 on Jan. 11 for an armed robbery.

According to the store clerk, the armed suspect entered the store with a firearm and demanded money and whiskey. The store clerk described the suspect as a skinny white man with dark colored clothing wearing a camouflage mask on his face. The clerk also said he was armed with a black shotgun.
