Rapides court house officials are unsure what will happen to Bobby Christopher Lucas of Deville. He apparently was sentenced to probation for manslaughter, but witnesses say the judge appeared to have misgivings.
State law may be the problem. Lucas pleaded to manslaughter. The law says you can’t get probation for a violent crime.
