Man jumps from Hale Boggs Bridge, divers search Mississippi River – 2nd in a week

For the second time in less than a week, a man has jumped from the Hale Boggs Mississippi River Bridge in St. Charles Parish, authorities report. St. Charles Parish deputies, along with the U.S. Coast Guard and divers, are searching for the man whom authorities say leaped from the top of the bridge shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
