Alexandria, LA: Forgery Arrest

APD says they got a call from workers at bank on Coliseum Boulevard that said 32-year-old Katina Lachney was trying to cash a check on a closed account.
Officers went to the bank to check it out and confirmed with bank workers that the checks had indeed been forged.

    Hey this is Katina Lachney, i did some work for a girl that owed me some money and she wrote me a check. I then took the check to the bank to cash it i turn and look, i am surrounded by Police and thrown in jail…. Think twice before taking a check from anyone… This could happen to you…
