Alexandria, LA: Home Invasion Leads To Man’s Arrest

ALEXANDRIA, La. – An Alexandria man has been arrested for breaking into someone’s home, while the homeowner was still inside.

APD says they were called to the 5300 block of Laccassine Street and David Wells and another man kicked down the door of the home, then burst inside with a knife in hand and demanded money from the victim.

Wells and the man then fled the scene before taking anything. Wells was later arrested and charged with home invasion. Police say they are still searching for the other suspect.
