‘Ghost Hunters’ To Benefit Zoo

#GH – Alexandria Zoo: Don’t Feed The Apparition

ALEXANDRIA, La. – Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Diamond Grill will host a benefit for the Alexandria Zoo on Sept. 26.

The premiere of the Ghost Hunters episode “Don’t Feed The Apparition,” that was filmed at the Alexandria Zoo and in downtown Alexandria for the SyFy Network, will be televised at the Diamond Grill.

Widescreen televisions will be placed throughout the restaurant including the upper level bar area. The event will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Chef William will be creating special “Ghost Hunters” dishes and cocktails along with an open menu for dinner. The proceeds from these offerings will go to Friends of the Alexandria Zoo.

Ghost Hunters is seen internationally and in a previous premiere of Haunted Town, which was filmed at the Diamond Grill, The Hotel Bentley and Finnegan’s Wake Pub.

Ghost Hunters will also return to Alexandria for a third episode in spring 2013.
