Risley Claiborne Charles “Pappy” Triche died last night according to his daughter. Triche graduated from LSU Law School and worked as an attorney most of his life.
The Napoleonville native was first appointed to the state House of Representatives by Governor Earl K. Long in 1955. He served 21 years. Triche served his last term as a floor leader for then newly elected Governor Edwin Edwards.
