West Monroe, LA: Expired sticker leads to drug charges

A West Monroe woman was arrested late Monday on multiple drug charges after police spotted an expired inspection sticker on the vehicle she was driving.

Police arrested Lindsey N. Brian, 806 Wallace, on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of hydrocodone, possession of clonazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a search of Brian police discovered a plastic zip top bag that contained 1 ½ gram of suspected methamphetamine, a plastic bag with about 1 gram of suspected methamphetamine and $746 in cash in her pants pocket.

Brian was transported to West Monroe Correctional Center and transferred to Ouachita Correctional Center.
