The victim is a 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighed 234 pounds and had a full beard. He appears to be between 25 and 35 years old, Gagliano said. He wore green pants, a white shirt and gray shoes.
He has several tattoos on his body. Inked on his right inner forearm is “One life to live” with an illustration of Jesus Christ holding a cross. His left inner forearm has an image of a wizard holding a ball with “Magic Man” written underneath. The word “Magic” is tattooed on his right upper chest, and “RIP Lois” is on his left upper chest.
Anyone with information about the victim’s identity is asked to call the coroner’s office at 504.658.9660.
A man was found shot to death early Monday in Gentilly Woods, New Orleans police said.
Officers responded to a call at 6:17 a.m. saying a man was lying in the5000 block of St. Ferdinand Drive, according to officer Frank Robertson, a Police Department spokesman. The unidentified man was shot and pronounced dead at the scene, Robertson said.
