Alexandria, LA: Man charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery

Alexandria Police arrested Alex Laneheart Sr. Sunday and charged him with Aggravated Second Degree Battery, Domestic Abuse Battery and Disturbing the Peace by Intoxication.

Police were called to a residence in the 2400 Block of Harris Street; upon arrival, officers located a 51-year-old female victim who was bleeding from a cut on her face. Further investigation into this incident found that the victim had been in an altercation with Laneheart, when she was hit in the face.
