SOUTH BOSSIER, LA (KSLA) –
One of the twin girls that fell into a backyard pool in South Bossier Sunday afternoon has died.
Bossier Parish Deputy Coroner Doug Morris says the 4-year-old twins wandered into a neighbor’s backyard and fell into a pool.
Morris says the children’s grandmother went looking for them when she realized they weren’t at her house. She found them a few houses away, where they’d been before, but weren’t supposed to be at that time.
After jumping into the pool and withdrawing both girls, the grandmother called 911 and began CPR on one of the girls in an attempt to resuscitate her, according to the girls’ godmother.
No names have been released.
