Amber Alert: Missing 12-year-old girl found in Fla.

A multi-state search for a missing 12-year-old Florida girl has been called off, according to a Louisiana State Police news release.

The girl, Megan Williams, was found by authorities in Florida, according to the release.

The Louisiana State Police have issued an endangered/missing child advisory for a 12-year-old girl who was last seen late Saturday night in her hometown of Margate, Fla.

Florida law enforcement officials believe Megan Williams may be travelling through Louisiana in the company of an unidentified man driving a silver Chevrolet Malibu.

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for Williams.

Williams is described by police as having light brown hair and brown eyes. Williams is 5′ 1″ tall and weighs approximately 85 pounds. She was last see wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

If seen, police request the public call 911 or contact a local law enforcement agency.
