New Orleans, LA: Paw Paw Bandit Sentenced

NEW ORLEANS—

A federal judge sentenced the bank robber dubbed the Paw Paw Bandit to four years in prison Thursday.

Michael Lewallen pleaded guilty to robbing five banks in Metairie last summer.

He could’ve gotten a 40 year sentence if convicted at trial.
