Police Clarify Auto Wreck

ALEXANDRIA, La. – Alexandria police have issued a correction about the overturned car wreck that happened Tuesday on Jackson Street.

Police say two cars were heading west on Jackson Street near Kroger.

The car on the outside lane tried to merge to the inside lane to make a left turn. When it did, the car on the inside lane in the blind spot, hit the car and flipped.

Police say the driver of the overturned car was not at fault, as previously reported.

There were no serious injuries.
