WSJ reporter resigns over alleged affair with Obama nominee

WASHINGTON DC: According to NEWSER, a prominent Wall Street Journal reporter has resigned over an alleged affair she had with Obama’s present day U.S Iraq ambassador nominee.

Gina Chon reportedly had a 2008 affair with Brett McGurk whom at the time was part of the U.S National Security Council rather than a nominee for President Obama.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Chon has since released a statement confirming her resignation:

“Chon agreed to resign after acknowledging that while based in Iraq she violated the Dow Jones Code of Conduct by sharing certain unpublished news articles with Brett McGurk, then a member of the US National Security Council in Iraq,” the Wall Street Journal said in a statement yesterday
