Seven people have been arrested in a narcotics distribution ring, according to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand. The arrests come just two months after authorities rounded up a number of suspects after raids in Harvey, Marrero, Metairie, Gretna and Slidell.
Among those snared in the latest arrests were Harold Bourgeois Jr. and Thanh Nguyen, who were booked in the earlier raid.
