
HOLDEN, LA (NBC33) — Two men have been arrested for allegedly going on to private property and stealing copper from FEMA trailers.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Cold Anthony Pittman, 27, and James A. Hood II, 23, on Monday, June 4. Investigators say the duo took power cords from somewhere between 40-80 FEMA trailers that were being stored on private property near Holden.
One of the two men admitted to entering one of the trailers that was being used as a residence and stealing cash from a wallet found inside. He also admitted to stealing a welding rig from another residence and selling it at a pawn shop.
