Thibodaux Police Department
Police were able to track down and arrest four people accused of invading a man’s home when one of the women returned to the scene for her keys.
Thibodaux police said they arrested Emily Lemmon, 22, Megan Landry, 21, Brandy Landry, 26, and Anthony Noel, 22, in connection with a home invasion that happened on Monday.
Police said the trio of women entered an 81-year-old man’s home, wanting to purchase pain medication. While the elderly man was speaking with the women, police said, Noel entered the home, grabbed his medication bag and the group fled from the home.
However, the plan wasn’t apparently thought-out thoroughly before the escape.
Police said one of women returned to the home after realizing she had forgotten her keys there.
Police arrested all four and took them to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.
The State Police Roadblock
Boudreaux and Thibodeaux were driving down the levee the other day engaging in their favorite pastime, drinking beer.
As they rounded a turn, they saw a State Police roadblock ahead, and Thibodeaux says, “Boudreaux, if dem Troopers see us wid dis beer, dey gonna bust us.”
Boudreaux tells him, “Don’t worry Thib, we’ll just pull over right here, finish our beers, peel de labels off de bottles, and stick dem on our foreheads, and throw de empty bottles in de ditch. Dey ain’t gonna know nuttin’ .”
Thibodeaux says, “Mais what dat’s gonna do ?” Boudreaux tells him, “You jus’ be quiet, an’ let me do de talkin’ .”
When they drive up to the roadblock, the first thing the Trooper asks is, “Have you fellas been drinking ?”
Boudreaux, pointing to his forehead, replies, “Oh, no sir. We used to do dat, but now we on de patch !”
