The pair entered a federal courtroom in New Orleans yesterday as a civil trial got under way, smiling at onlookers but failing to acknowledge one another. The court heard allegations from lawyers for Baldwin, 46, and his friend Spyridon Contogouris, a Louisiana businessman, that Costner and a colleague duped them into selling the 38 per cent stake they owned in his oil clean-up company in June 2010 by failing to share news that a $52 million sales deal with BP was pending.
