The owners of The Pig Stand have filed a lawsuit against the state Department of Children and Family Services, State Police and the foster parents of three children who accused the couple of raping the children last year.
The lawsuit filed in St. Landry Parish stems from the May 2011 arrests of Barry and Marla Giglio, who were among eight people arrested on allegations that they molested three girls in Church Point.
A grand jury later declined to indict the Giglios on charges of aggravated rape.
The lawsuit seeks damages for acts of negligence, gross negligence, defamation, libel and slander.
