This was taken at Maho Beach on the Dutch side of the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten. A jet was taking off next to our beach and blew everything all over the place. One of my son’s Crocs was blown 3 football fields into the ocean. In addition, most of our cameras were thrown all over the beach. Nothing was permanently damaged though, except for losing a Croc. This was on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at approximately 2:00PM. We stopped off at this island from our cruise on the Carnival Valor. The beach is right next to the famous Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). The planes take off and land incredibly close to the beach. What a great time!
